Seven Cedars Hotel and Casino Expansion

All-electric hotel demonstrates how casinos can meet their decarbonization and efficiency goals

Ecotope provided full HVAC and Plumbing design as well as energy consulting services for this major hotel and casino expansion. Project scope added a 100-room hotel, conference center, and spa to be built adjacent to the existing casino. Our design included high-performance windows and mechanical equipment, including a high-performance heat exchanger for balanced ventilation distribution to all hotel units. A heat pump water heating system provides high COP domestic hot water to all hotel units, offices, and the conference center. Lighting power levels are targeting a 25 percent reduction compared to the 2015 Washington State Energy Code. Our plumbing scope also included the preliminary design of a greywater recycling/processing plant that was to be handed off to a turnkey supplier. Ecotope is also responsible for commissioning and energy incentive negotiation services for this project.
